Frank Liew (of Qubic) rolled through town once again last week. Big things planned for that dude including getting tied down in 3 weeks or so. I make it sound pretty negative don’t I haha. Had a night on the town(s) literally… went for Korean BBQ, drinks and then he suggested we go to Macau. My big sister Jenn from Vans was around to provide her wisdow and advice as always but in this case she was pushed the idea pretty hard… probably cause she had a day off the next day haha. But on the real, she’s cut her teeth at many levels of Vans and is killing it in China with Vans. Something like 100 Vans flagship stores opened in her short tenure heading up the Asia Pacific region. Not sure why Macau came up but Frank suggested it… might have been the pints and rounds of tequila? After rounding up the passports, we took the short hour ride over on the 1:30 am ferry. Frank didn’t even sit down at a table haha, electing to do what he does best, roam and get drinks. Somehow Jason and I sat in the poker room till 11:00 am. Oh I failed to mention, Jason some how coaxed Season and Kingson to take a 30 minute cab ride to catch the 2:30 am ferry too hahaha. You know what would cool… an industry-wide charity poker tournament at the next MAGIC… just saying…
