I’ve been fortunate enough to meet some real great people through my relatively short lifetime. Both thanks to my main gig as the Managerial Editor here and my general experiences growing up, ultimately I felt the need to create a platform to dissect and explore the underlying issues and approaches many of my respected friends and peers have taken on their own personal journey of success. Let’s be frank, there’s more to life than the fashion that proliferates the pages of Hypebeast and for me, I felt that the stories of many non-Hypebeast relevant personalities or different angles to their story deserved to be uncovered and presented. I find an inherent interest in the background and surroundings that ultimately make people who they are today. I always loved doing features for Hypebeast cause it gave me a chance to really pick the brain of the person on the other end and to help analyze multiple angles and directions to their work. The features I do here will be no different, I don’t want them to be so much as an interview as a conversation that hopes to create and inspire dialog and a higher level of thinking.

Having maintained a blog at Hypebeast as well, I’ll concede, there’s going to be some cross-posting. But I do know for sure, this space does allows for me to tackle more personal subjects and issues… oh yeh I can cuss and swear to all my heart’s content here haha.

I guess that’s about it, this is what it is… I did want to create a website layout that was picture and photography intensive. Growing up and still to this day, my manual dexterity in sports simply has no carry over to the realm of visual communication, whether it be painting or drawing. Yet, picking up a camera, for better or worse, I’ve been afforded this great opportunity to express myself to the world. You don’t need to like my shit, in fact you can hate it, but I guess that’s the way it goes… I’ve approached photography solely as something that makes me inspired and happy.
