Ok I need to get this out there… been so busy the last few days and this kept lingering in the back of my mind. Few if any people really read these but like I said, shit’s more of a thing for myself haha. I played only 180 minutes of football over the weekend but my body feels like a warzone… but to my credit it was 9-aside on shitty FieldTurf. I can’t tell if this hipflexor pain is tightness or a pull ugh.
On a sad note, Canada lost to the US in Olympic hockey leaving us the ability to brag only about intangible things such as how nice we are as Canadians.

#4. It’s Not Political, but More Canadians Are Lefties
So apparently a greater number of Canadian hockey players shoot left. Nobody really knows why… but I am one of the Canadian majority that shoot left… which also carried over into how I swung a bat and a golf club. Meaning I rarely if ever got the chance to play golf haha. I remember my first hockey stick, a white/red Titan stick with Gretzky’s “signature” on it.

#12. Fashion’s New Fever: Bloggers in Spotlight As They Aim for Fame | SSS – Teen Blogger Tavi Wows Crowd at Panel Discussion
No need for me to point out the obvious, fashion is about business and with it comes the fact that the current crop of so-called personal-style bloggers and just online platforms in general are helping people move units. So with it comes an increased power bestowed upon these individuals… But I’m still waiting for the first scandal of some sort to break out between a blogger and a brand that greased them haha.
#13. An Order of Prospertiy, to Go
American’s greatest un-exploited export… human services. Forget products, cue American services which has increasingly risen and represents a large part of the global segment for industries such as operational leasing (short-term capital-intensive leasing), engineering, architecture, construction, eduction etc. This is a place where I still think the United States can and will hold an edge over China in various creative domains due to the relatively close-minded aspect of China. Without the ability to freely be subjected to many different subjects, creativity in my eyes is stifled.

#29. ***GROW UP.
I agree wholeheartedly with Bobby Hundreds on this post. A lot of brands these days have seemed to shut out their roots and their previous consumer. Well, your brand’s direction is up to you, however I can’t help but feel a bit of disdain for people that grow up on the streetwear tip but have shut the door on their roots. As I write this, I’m wearing a graphic tee, pin-rolled jeans, hoodie and a trucker cap… yeh I wore some boots yesterday but there’s no need these days to completely narrow yourself to the confines of just one style albeit a timeless and more refined one.

#31. ***State of the Art in Hong Kong
While the beginning of the article reaffirms my beliefs that Hong Kong’s cultural landscape is controlled mostly by money, the second aspect looks promosing as it talks about various not-for-profit initiatives. I don’t necessarily blame Hong Kong’s art scene for the way it is… Hong Kong is a hard place to grow any movement on the basis that there’s a consistent and expensive barrier to entry with space for creativity, whether it be accessible galleries or studios.

While cigarettes can no longer be sold as “light” or “mild”… shit don’t mean a thing cause now you can expect colors to be representative of the degree of nicotine in the cigarette… and on that note light cigarettes don’t mean shit cause smokers just suck them back harder to get their hit.
