Taken from #6 The Big Picture: 2010 Paralympics
There’s no doubt quite a few China-centric articles that make their way into most Link Dumps, so for that I will now dedicate the first section as “China Corner” complete with tacky yellow (virtually illegible) and red fonts haha. It’s not so much I actively source these types of articles, but if you follow the NYT, they are a very prominent fixture in the day-to-day reportings. I don’t mind, I like hearing about both emerging and established super powers and their current cultural difficulties and how each culture handles them appropriately or how people look to conduct themselves cross-culturally.

**If you encounter a login page for a NY Times article (yes there are quite a few of them…), I highly suggest signing up for a free account or else use this dummy one I set up.

I mentioned on my Twitter that much of Mainland fashion was associated with highly noticeable and logo-driven design, I guess I was wrong as much of the Mainland elite favor classy dress watches.

I-G-N-O-R-A-N-C-E at its finest. Sounds so Honger to eat food and praise it based solely on price, I mean they do it with so many other aspects of their life.
