My everyday routine is pretty regimented… wake up around 9 am or 10 am, turn on the computer that is just inches away, as it boots up, go into the kitchen and “make” my breakfast which coniststs of peeling 4 hard boiled eggs and grabbing whatever mound of kimchi I can with my chopsticks. From there go through the usual, RSS, emails etc and then when 3 or 4 pm rolls around I hit the gym. Shit keeps me sane in some ways, but there are a ton of stupid douches at the gym. Therefore, I’ve made it a goal to go outside more and work on my ghostly complexion (still no Kevin ahaha) and put in some quick solid work with some HIIT sprints. Seemingly everybody is at the gym to get fit but so many people are taking shortcuts… I wonder if this is how they go through the rest of your life as well, if you’re putting in only 1/4 the range of movement you should be, does that equate to you only putting a 1/4 effort in when it comes to other aspects of your? I’ve always wondered if the Chinese population in general never feared hard mental work but would run in the opposite direction when faced with physical adversity. It seems as though you hear ridiculous feats of mental power like playing World of Warcraft for 30 hours straight or something, or sleeping 3 hours a day on the regular, but when it comes to grunt work… not so much.
But yeh, it’s 3:55 pm… time to go outside.
