Came across this pretty touching video of what sort of ingenuity and lengths people go through when faced with adversity. It’s true, tough-times in most contexts bring forth creative solutions and this is no doubt one of them. All eyes will turn to the continent of Africa as they host the 2010 World Cup and I’m hoping they pull off a good show. The African contingency seem to have an upbeat approach to their football and their love of “The Beautiful Game” is something quite evident here. Growing up as a kid and playing soccer, I think everybody wanted the top of the line shit on their feet… yet a world away, people are very much content with something much more simple.
