Granville Island’s this pretty cool little district in Vancouver. Somewhat commercial, the area features quasi-parks, a few different creative spaces alongside more touristy stuff such as restaurants, cafes and a market. Took the chance to get out and walk along the sea wall on the way over to Granville Island. Being the summer months, quite a few people out and about. Would suck to show up looking to park as you circle around endlessly looking for a spot. I’m sure for those that live in Van, Granville Island whilst a little touristy is the exact sort of thing that makes Vancouver such a liveable place. Actually I find all-in-all, there are quite a few different areas throughout Vancouver each offering something different dependent on your mood.
