For you guys on a personal level, what are some of your favorite brands both inside and outside the realm of fashion? Any particular reasons?
Daniel: Off the top of my head… right now for Japan my 2 favorite brands are Deluxe and Bedwin. They put out amazing product and I think they will be the next really big brands to come out of Japan. For Canada I like Reigning Champ and Wings + Horns. For sneakers I like adidas right now, they are teaming up with some great people and doing good collaborations lately. It gets me excited about sneakers again. For cameras, I just bought a Lumix LX-3 and I totally love it. It’s pretty much among the best you can get for compact point and shoot despite being to market for many months. And for beer, I stick with Miller Genuine Draft (MGD) or Asahi!
Arthur: There’s a lot of brands that I really like on a personal level but there’s too many to mention. Similar to Dan I’m really into what Bedwin and Deluxe are doing at the moment. Acronym is always amazing on the technical apparel side of things and White Mountaineering is on my radar as well. Outside of fashion I’m not too sure, I’m a big Mac user and also drink a lot Tim Hortons coffee… haha.
