An article I saw over at the NYT like this usually gets reserved for the Link Dumps but the video component of Scottish biker Danny MacAskill’s work and play was worth sharing in a more in-depth light. I’m surprised I never saw this guy’s talents before seeing as how far-reaching he has become. In our day in age, the ability to become an overnight star is very much a reality. As in the case of Danny MacAskill who’s video launched back in April of 2009 essentially paved the way to what his agent says will now be a foreseeable 6-figure a year salary if he stays healthy thanks to his skills to make bills on his two wheels of terror. But on that same note, despite the fact that some consider it “easier” to make it big, sustainability comes into play and to be frank, if you have the talent, you have longevity. That aspect doesn’t change, the cream does and will always rise to the top as people grow tired of mediocrity. Unless somebody or a handful of people quickly eclipse the Scottish rider, don’t expect him to fade out any time soon and maintain his title as most favorited Youtube Sports video of all-time.
